Associations:

Homebuilders association of Greater Columbia: Our local chapter of Homebuilders association of America with over 900 local builder and associate members.   Great links and resources.

HBA of Greater Columbia Remodelers Subgroup of the local HBA. Newly remodeled site.  Features different types of remodeling jobs, and links to qualified professionals.

Green Building Council: Green Building Council of Greater Columbia (New Site).  Find out who's getting involved in Building Green in Columbia!

Realtors:

Edwin Gerace:  I’ve known Edwin for a long time,  he’s a great guy who just happens to be one of the hottest realtors in the Lexington market.  If you need to find it or sell it, get in touch with Edwin.

Kit and Johnny Oswald: Coldwell Banker. The lake pro team. They have sold lake Murray property for years.

Tom Sharpe Coldwell Banker:  Tom is a super knowledgeable realtor with a super informative website.  He sells a lot of product in Lexington, as well as the rest of Columbia.

Bankers:

Stuart Wingo Regions bank:  Financing is certainly the not same as it was a year ago.... I have a good solution for you though... I had Stuart recommended to me by a friend in the biz, and this guy knows how to get it done for you.  He got it done for me, even showed up at the closing. Custom Homebuilders:

The Barry Davis Company Inc.:  One of the Lexington areas finest builders, I recommend him highly to all of my Lexington area clients.  He builds both sides of the lake, Lexington side and Chapin side too.

Mike Lowman Homes:  I've worked with Mike for a long time on his regular product line, recently we have been doing more custom work for happy clients.

Meridian Homes:  Frank has done lots of great homes for my clients and now he's building green too!  Check him out on the web!

NAI Construction:  Dave Stout, president. Good quality cost plus builder. Check out his website!.

Remodeling contractors:

Lamotte Builders:  Bob Lamotte and I have worked on many projects together.  I can highly recommend him for your remodeling needs.

Lee Willm:  Willm Construction. I've done work with Lee and he's very good at remodeling.  I can recommend him highly.

Specialty contractors:

Energy Saver Home:  Read about those green homes and their great power bills? Now you can get those lower bills in your existing home!

Mt. Valley Construction Company:  The foundation repair experts. If you have a sagging foundation, or a fireplace pulling away from the wall, these guys can easily fix it.

The Clearwater Co:  Check out their website for lots of great pool installation ideas!

Gilmore Consulting:  If you’re going to build green you need a rater.  Joseph is HERS and NAHB program cerified.

Cutters Insulation:  Craig Cutter did the insulation in my new green rated home.  He is also a HERS rater.  That means if you have an energy problem with your home he can probably find it and fix it.

Palmetto Heating and Air: Trent Jackson handled all of my HVAC needs for my green home and he knows how to go green with your new or existing HVAC also. Not on the web yet. call 803-358-9673

New home communities:

Lake Carolina:  Northeast Columbia.  New community with a nice lake amenity. Hosted the 2000 Parade of Homes. They have a new neighborhood called Harborside that I'm working in.  It's a master planned Traditional Neighborhood Development.  Really exciting stuff!

Longcreek Plantation: Northeast Columbia.  Well planned group of neighborhoods around a nice lake and golf course. Upscale living.
