Step 1: Find your perfect home plan on the homesource website. Step 2: Select which foundation system is right for you. Some of our customers desire a concrete slab foundation (durable, inexpensive, and perfect for handicap accessibility) Step 3: Choose an exterior finish. Homes can be purchased with a choice of exterior options, such as vinyl siding, hardiplank siding, or even a brick exterior. Step 4: Choose your level of completion desired. Most homesource clients opt to have our craftsmen complete the entire home. Some clients have a certain portion of the work that they would like to arrange to have taken care of themselves, such as floor coverings, painting, or they may have a relative who is a licenced electrician or plumber. Some clients may opt for the dried in package alone and have a local builder complete the project. Whichever path you choose, you know that your home will be properly engineered and constructed for your area, and will conform to the highest structural standards in the industry. Step 5: After meeting with a homesource specialist we can provide specific cost data for both the homebuilding package and the completed homesource home that you have chosen. You and your specialist will "spec out your home" to your taste and construction specifications. He will also meet you at your site and give you a site evaluation, and estimate the foundation costs for your new home. He can also give you the specific data that the bank may need for application purposes. Step 6: Home construction will begin as your site is prepared and foundation system is installed. Step 7: Design and engineering department will review your selections and begin the fabrication of your new home by computer in our state of the art facility in Columbia, South Carolina. Our computerized sawing operation begins the process of cutting and assembly of your building components. Each piece and component is assembled to exacting specifications with tolerances of 1/100 of an inch. Fabrication and packaging is scheduled to within days of delivery to your site so your component package will have minimum exposure to the elements. Step 8: Our factory trained crew arrives with your component package for installation. In a minimum amount of time your new home will be assembled from the precision manufactured components. The exterior sheathing and roof paper will be installed, doors and window package will be plumbed and installed, and your home will be in "dry in" condition in a minimum amount of time, and at minimal exposure to the elements and at minimal risk to construction theft. Step 9: Homes can at this point be turned over to the buyer or completed to the finish level stated in your home contract.
